Want to "get the band back together"?

This is your opportunity to do it...Classes begin February 5th, 2011!

At Monterey Peninsula Academy of Music, we can make your dream of playing in a band a reality in our new group class "I'm in the Band"!

We supply all you need to have fun, fun, and more fun:

1) A comfortable place to play (no garage here), centrally located in Monterey, CA.

2) Folks like yourself, of your age and skill level, who just want to have fun and learn music. No egos here - we check them at the door.

3) Instruments to play - in most cases. However, you probably will need one at home on which to practice.

4) Most importantly - a highly qualified and personable instructor/mentor who can teach you how to play and keep things "a-rockin' and a-rollin'"

Affordable: Only $150/month includes four 90-minute sessions.

Convenient: Centrally located across from the post office in Monterey, CA. Classes are held on Saturday afternoons and Sunday afternoons.

Two skill/age levels from which to choose:

1) Beginners/Juniors (a.k.a. "The Openers") and 2) Advanced/Seniors ("Headliners")

Now is your time to have some good ol' fashioned fun, getting your "ya-ya's" out with others and learning a little about music, yourself, and your bandmates.

TUITION POLICY

TUITION

Tuition payment of $150 per month for four 90 min. sessions are due on or before the 1st lesson if the month (see PAYMENT PROCEDURE below). When 5 lessons occur in a calendar month, the tuition for that month will be pro-rated to $185. Tuition for group lessons are due on the 1st class of the session.

PAYMENT PROCEDURE

Personal one party check, and cash can be accepted for payment of tuition. All checks should be made payable to the specific instructor. We accept deit/credit cards through the emailed invoice system only.

The company we use for credit /debit card transactions is Quickbooks. All financial data is securely encoded on their system and fully complies with all of the Federal Reserve electronic bank transfer requirements. The system is currently being used to securely process millions of transactions each year in other industries as well.

If at any time you wish to discontinue lessons, simply inform us in writing one month in advance and we will stop charges on your bank account or credit card after the 1 month notice.

ATTENDANCE

Payment of tuition reserves your instructor's time and a specific lesson time. Please avoid scheduling activities or appointments during the time that your reserved for your lesson. If you experience a continued conflict with your lesson time, contact us regarding the possibility of changing to a permanent time that is more convenient for you.

If an instructor is absent, the Academy will provide a qualified substitute instructor or the lesson will be credited or made-up.

DISCOUNTS

We offer a 10% discount to siblings, spouses, or parents of students already enrolled.

SCHOLARSHIPS

Limited funds are available for scholarships. Please call for further information.
